Which Class Is For Me

Country Heat- Country Heat is a high-energy, low-impact, country dance-inspired fitness program that fires up the fun—you won't even feel like you're working out! Each dance routine is packed with easy-to-follow moves set to good 'ol country music.

 

PiYo - Combines the muscle-sculpting, core-firming benefits of Pilates with the strength and flexibility advantages of Yoga. It’s low-impact but high-intensity. You’ll stretch and strengthen every muscle, and when you’re done, you’ll feel that exhilarating glow that comes with doing something great for your body.

 

Spin- Focuses on endurance, strength, intervals, high intensity racing followed by recovery.

*Spin Express- Same format but shorter class (30mins)

 

Group Active- Activate your Life!  Incorporating all elements of fitness, Group Active® will increase your cardio fitness, build strength and improve balance and flexibility. Great music and instructors. 

 

Yoga- You will be lead through a series of postures and breathing techniques to help develop flexibility, improve muscle tone and core strength, and aid in relaxation and stress reduction.

 

Conditioning– Maximum calorie burn in the shortest amount of time.  Blast your system with a variety of cutting edge cardio, muscle endurance and resistance training exercises.

 

HIIT- High Intensity Interval Training is a training technique of intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods, burning more calories in shorter time.

 

Wake up & Shake Up-Both cardio and toning in one class!  Four rounds of 5 minutes of various cardio routines followed by 5 minutes of toning exercises. End the hour with a well earned 10 minute stretch. Lots of variety and fun every class.

 

KickboxingLearn “Real” Fitness Kickboxing combinations and kick techniques.  From the warm-up, hand wrapping, stance, footwork, kickboxing drills and combinations utilizing focus pads and partner training, abs routine and cool down stretches.

 

Core- A 30 minute class focusing on strengthening the abdominal and the lower back 

 

Bootcamp Express- Incorporating drills designed to enhance agility, speed, power, strength and quickness, you'll move from station to station. Total body workout!

 

Zumba- Dance your way to a fitter you!  A fitness party with a contagious blend of Latin and international rhythms.  

 

Latin Dance - This class is designed around basic body rhythms inherent in Latin dance ie. Cumbia, Merengue, Salsa, etc.

 

Muscle-UP - Strength training with exercises focusing on all muscle groups. This class is perfect for someone looking to build strength but may feel intimidated by using machines in the gym.

 

Circuit Training- building strength and endurance in this muscle defining class that alternates between upper body, lower body and cardio in between. 

 

Freedom Friday: As if Fridays aren’t already a great day, surprise your body from week to week with a 45-minute fitness treat! Like a box of chocolates, you never know what to expect.

 

On the Ball- improve your balance, core strength and posture in this stability ball workout 

 

Powersculpt- This class builds muscle strength and definition. Optional hand held weights, balls and weighted bars guarantee a full body workout. This 90min class will include weights and core work.

 

Body Blast - Combines the principles of resistance training and conditioning, to increase your strength and tone all muscle groups.

 

Butts & Gutts - Tone your abs and glutes with targeted movements. Class will also focus on targeting your quads and hamstrings.

 

 

POOL CLASSES

 

Joint ActionAquatic therapy refers to water-based treatments or exercises of therapeutic intent, in particular for relaxation, fitness and physical rehabilitation. Treatments and exercises are performed while partially submerged in water.  Many aquatic therapy procedures require constant attendance by a qualified personal trainer, and are preformed in a specialized warm temperature-controlled pool. Rehabilitation commonly focuses on improving the physical function associated with illness, injury, or disability.

 

Gentle Movement This water exercise class is for people looking for a light, low impact, joint-friendly workout. You will improve core strength, endurance, range of motion, flexibility and balance. All levels are welcome.  Gentle movement is a great class for those looking to ease into physical activity or for individuals managing a chronic health condition as it follows a gentler pace.

 

Half & Half- Half cardio. half toning exercises designed to strengthen your muscles while working your heart and lungs. 

 

Aquafit Easier on the joints, this high energy workout adds a unique element of resistance training.  

 

AquaHIIT - Brief bursts of high intensity work followed by a recovery period.  Designed to boost metabolism and burn more calories than steady state cardio exercises.
