Joint Action: (Aquatic Therapy)

 

This Aquatic Therapy class is taught by Nationally Certified Instructors.  Exercises are of a therapuetic nature and are performed in a warm temperature controlled pool.  Classes focus on improving physical function associated with illness, injury, or disability; to help ease pain and stiffness in joints and muscles and to increase active rane of motion and promtoe healing. A doctor's or other Health professional's note is required to participate in this program.

 

Gentle Movement: (Aquatic Exercise)

 

This water exercise class is for people looking for a light, low impact, joint-friendly workout. You will improve your core strength, endurance, range of motion, flexibility and balance. All levels are welcome. Gentle Movement is a great class for those looking to ease into physical activity or for individuals who want a gentler pace.

 

 

AquaFit 1/2 & 1/2

 

Half cardio/half toning exercises designed to strengthen your muscles whilw working your heart and lungs.

 

AquaFit

 

Participants benefit from the buoyancy of the water, reduing an individual's weight by 50% and providing resistance from the water with every movement.  No need to know how to swim to enjoy this high energy, cardiovascular workout!

 

 

AquaHIIT

 

An advances, yet highly effective form of cardiovascular training, HIIT involves brief bursts of high-intensity work followed by a recovery period.  These classes boost your metabolism and burn more calories than steady state cardiovascular activities.
