Which Class Is For Me?


Pilates is a full body exercise program that educates, realigns and balances your body, building lean, flexible muscle. It increases co-ordination and emphasises and improves body alignment and posture while relieving stress and tension. Combining Eastern and Western exercises, Pilates provides you with a safer, more effective and complete workout using total integration of control, aerobics, flexibility and strength.

Developed in the 1920s by the legendary physical trainer Joseph H. Pilates, Pilates is an exercise system focused on improving flexibility and strength for the total body without building bulk. Not surprisingly, some of the first people to Pilates were dancers such as Martha Graham and George Balanchine. Pilates is not just exercise, however, it is a series of controlled movements engaging your body and mind.

Our qualified Stott Certified Pilates instructors will lead you in a series of stretches to help increase your flexibility, improve your muscle tone and relieve the stresses of daily life.
