The first and most important step for making lifestyle changes is training the mind. 

Changing your mind involves changing your self-awareness, attitude, self-esteem, focus and capacity to set goals.  So when you begin a physical activity and a nutrition and wellness program with a fit mind it ensures success.  My greatest desire is to educate, empower and inspire my clients to develop a fit mind and maintain lifestyle habits that lead to good health, and a high quality of life.

Certified Nutrition & Wellness Program -What to expect during your first session??

You will be consulting with a Certified Nutrition and Wellness Specialist. The first consultation is typically 45 minutes in duration and involves a close look at the client’s health history, physical activity history, body fat and hydration levels, body measurements and existing fitness level as determined by a number of per-determined fitness tests.  We will also take you through a series of questions designed to help us evaluate and deliver a detailed assessment of your physical activity, nutritional balance, and “holistic” wellness.   After reviewing your assessment, a client profile will be developed, identifying specific areas for improvement based on each Physical Activity, Nutritional and Lifestyle component.  

Following this initial assessment and subsequent feedback session, our Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition and Wellness Specialist will help you establish sensible and realistic fitness and wellness goals. A customized plan is designed, recommending strategies for change and progress evaluations will be scheduled to ensure goals are being met.   We’ll also take a close at nutrition patterns and nutritional imbalances in relation to these goals.

Personal Goal setting is a powerful process. By knowing precisely what you want to achieve, you know where you have to concentrate your efforts. You'll also quickly spot the distractions that would otherwise lure you from your course.  More than this, properly-set goals can be incredibly motivating, and as you get into the habit of setting and achieving goals, you'll find that your self-confidence builds fast. By adhering to the “SMART” principles to achieve fitness and wellness goals, we can demonstrate to our clients, the benefits of this formula.  Set specific goals/measurable goals/action-oriented goals/realistic goals/time-based goals.
